It started with Nintendo’s Mario Paint all the way to the Silicon Valley. Her whole life, AB knew if she could have a career filling things in with the paint bucket tool she would do just that. A love of art throughout childhood and onto computer art classes in high school led her to realize she needed to follow her dream. So, a week after high school, she packed up her belongings in a small town in Illinois and headed to the heart of technology – the Silicon Valley, CA.

From there, she attended the Digital Media School at West Valley College while working to support herself. Upon graduating with the opportunity of being the valedictorian, she received a

wonderful opportunity to do work for Ingenious Solutions Advertising Agency assisting in “graphic prep”. Before she knew it, she went from assisting the lead designer to designing all of ISI’s clients’ pieces. While there, a great mentor taught her everything about advertising and running a business.

Now, back in the great (but cold) state of Illinois, Amanda is a full-time freelance graphic designer who looks forward to waking up daily and playing with the brush and paint bucket tool. She is proof that if you are living your passion, you will succeed!
